Schedule Today!FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
How much will my first appointment cost?
The cost of your first appointment will vary according to your own insurance benefits for chiropractic. While we ask our patients to be aware of their insurance benefits, we are happy to check for you as a courtesy! Please give us a call with your insurance company, member ID number, and date of birth.
If you do not plan on using insurance, please contact us for more information regarding your options.
Do you accept my insurance?
Alight is in-network with several insurance companies, please check out our New Patients page to learn more! (If you have a specific provider you wish to see, please check their team profile for their accepted insurances.) If you do not find your insurance company on that page, we can still serve you as an out-of-network provider. You are welcome to pay out-of-pocket and bill directly toward your insurance provider for reimbursement. If you have further questions, please contact your insurance or give us a call to learn more.
Will you bill my insurance for my visits?
Yes! We will bill your insurance provider directly for your visits so that you do not have to.
Can you send me the bill for my appointment?
We are happy to provide a detailed appointment receipt and/or statement for your visits. However, all payments are due at the time of service, including copays and co-insurance. We accept many forms of payment, please ask our front desk specialist if you need any assistance!
Is chiropractic safe?
Chiropractic is completely safe and is even safe to treat infants! It is a non-chemical, non-toxic, effective way to treat causes of pain and various ailments. We at Alight Chiropractic believe that the DC and patient must work together and build trust for great results! Please talk to your DC about building out your treatment plan to build your comfort level.
Are there any side effects of chiropractic treatment?
Side effects are pretty rare, but any appearance of side effects depend on the patient’s condition. The night of your first adjustment, you may experience some stiffness and/or soreness in random areas of your spine or related extremities. This is a great sign that your body is correcting itself and readjusting to the manipulation. This kind of “side effect” is normal and will disappear after 1-2 days. You can compare this to your muscles feeling sore after a workout session!
Once I start chiropractic, will I need to continue treatments indefinitely?
