Visualization
Visualization is the use of outer visual clues (eg. edema, skin coloration, etc.) to guide the doctor to the cause of pain.
Instrumentation
A nerve scope is utilized to detect heat differences in the spine for signs of inflammation and nerve pressure.
Static Palpation
With the patient in a stationary position, the doctor palpates (feels) the spine for swelling, edema, and/or tenderness.
Motion Palpation
In this step, the doctor gently moves and bends the spine to check the body’s mobility and movement.
X-ray Analysis
Using the patient’s x-rays, the doctor visualizes the overall structure of the spine and diagnoses its health.
